Scientific name: Malus pumila
Description: The tree reaches a height of 25 feet. This is probably a cultivated apple tree that became wild. It is found in glades, hedges and small tree groups. The leaves are dark green and lightly serrated. The fragrant five-petaled blossoms bloom in April / May. The small golden-colored apples have a tart, sometimes bitter taste.

This is a remedy for cleansing. It is for those who have the feeling that they have something unclean about them. Often this is something apparently insignificant. Others may have a much more serious illness. This remains almost unnoticed in comparison with the one detail upon which they concentrate their attention. In both cases they are, however, anxiously concerned with freeing themselves from the one issue that holds them captive and seems so essential to them that they want to be healed from it. They become despondent when the treatment does not work. As a cleansing remedy, this medicine can clean wounds if the patient has reason to believe that toxins have penetrated there that should be eliminated.
